Kärkimedia’s Baari, designed by Citat Oy, took the win in the B2B service category in Grand One, the largest and most prestigious competition for digital media in Finland. Partnering with Citat in the technical production of the service was Futurice.

“It often happens with this kind of service that people start to build a brand for the service only after the service concept is ready. Kärkimedia, however, understood the importance of branding in the early stages of the design process, the end result being a service which is not only functional but attractive as well. The brand is an integral part of the customer-oriented approach,” says Heidi Gutekunst, Managing Director of Citat Oy.
“Baari is a good example of our genuine care for our customers and also of our understanding of their needs,” says Gutekunst when asked about the reasons behind the success in Grand One.
Kärkimedia’s Baari is also shortlisted in the Finnish Vuoden Huiput (‘Best of the Year’) competition, Service Design category. The winners of the competition will be announced on April 9.
