Danske Bank, one of the biggest banks in the Nordics, needed help creating demand for their easy money transfer app – MobilePay. We created a social marketing concept where people apply for small grants provided by MobilePay. Grants were applied by adding the #äitilähetärahaa -hashtag to a post in any social network that supported the use of hashtags.
Our team of community managers tracked posted applications and helped user to download the app. A variety of marketing activities were initiated to boost the campaign online. Along with paid media we commisioned famous finnish vloggers, instagram celebrities and Danske sponsored athletes to spread the word. Finally we rebuild the MobilePay site to aggregate all grant applications from social channels.
